Ellen here would, and she'd be chastising Mr. Cat Motel by saying, "You can't do that shit acoustically? Watch this, son." What we have here are crisp, pure drones that shimmer with that extra flavor that only acoustic instruments can bring. Sounding somewhere between a harpsichord and a sitar, Fullman draws out relaxed undulations from her instrument, holding interest throughout long (20+ minutes) compositions.
